Sponsor a sixty-year-old palomino vine in Pago Miraflores and participate in the safeguarding of this genetic heritage.

The vast majority of the vineyard planted in the Marco de Jerez (around 85%) is of palomino vines of productive clones such as “California” or “84”. Only a few isolated plots of old vines remain. which were planted when no clones were selected but a personal and diverse choice of palomino vines was developed. These plots are today a library of the genetic diversity of pigeon biotypes. 

Muchada-Léclapart is fortunate to have access to these plots as all of them are old palomino “masal selection” vines. We are also carrying out research work by selecting the best vines from our plots to create this “library” of vines.

Muchada-Léclapart offers you the possibility of taking part in the safeguarding of this heritage by sponsoring one of these vines., to which we will assign your name together with that of a noble wine grower from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in homage to those who for centuries made the creation of this wonderful grape possible. 

You will receive a token and a certificate of sponsorship and an annual bottle of the same plot.
